Almost a year went by since my last trip to US (which it was actually the first time I had a chance to go there after I started sewing) when I finally felt confident enough to cut one of my foreign fabric.
Because all the fabric I got in this trip was really different from the ones we have here in Brazil, I had to use it in significant project.
While increasing my expenses with fabrics, clothes and other fashion accessories are left in second plan. So the obvious choice was to combine mine two biggest consumer addictions: purses and fabrics.
Quase um ano se passou desde a minha última viagem aos Estados Unidos (na verdade foi a primeira vez que eu tive a chance de ir lá depois que comecei a costurar), quando finalmente me senti confiante o suficiente para cortar um dos meus tecidos importados.
Como todos os tecidos que comprei nessa viagem eram muito diferente dos que temos aqui no Brasil, eu tinha que usá-los em projeto significativo.
Enquanto meus gastos com tecidos aumenta, roupas e outros acessórios de moda são deixados em segundo plano. Por isso, a escolha óbvia foi combinar os meus dois maiores vícios de consumo: bolsas e tecidos.
