Last time my family had a wedding party I was caught totally unprepared. Not only I was late for the ceremony and almost missed my bus on the way back but I hadn’t prepared any gift until a day before the big event.
Yes, I could have bought something from the list but I’ve promised my cousin months before that I would make something special for him and his lovely bride. After all, I owned him from all the times he took care of my house and pets when I went away for vacations.
I arrived late in my home town but not empty handed. The night before, I managed to make them a sofa throw with a striped fabric in shades of brown and beige. I simply cut the stripes and made squares. I wish I had more time to make something more sophisticated but I believe they are happy with the result and that will look very good in their home.

Eu gostaria de ter mais tempo para fazer algo mais sofisticado, mas eu acredito que eles estão felizes com o resultado e que ficará muito bem em sua casa.
